Looks similar to indexing ratchet from matco but I have never seen that from blue point and with no part number I am worried it might be a fake from over seas. Look at indexing ratchets if u like the design

Its blue point relabled indexible ratchet made in the usa from Superior Ratchet and Tool Company. I have a original SRTC one and its a nice ratchet but dont use it to often, but its great when I do need it. Its identical to the blue point on ebay. Its great for some top starter bolts or top transfer case bolts etc. I dont remember the whole story but Snap On sold this one under the blue point brand then decided to make there own with a snap on handle and labeled it as an actual snap on and then got in trouble with with SRTC for a patent agreement and was forced to stop selling the snap on. Thats the story my snap on rep told me atleast!

edit didn't realise that was a 1/4 inch drive, mines a 3/8 drive im not how sure how useful that one would be?

I have the Matco version of that ratchet. I've only had to use it maybe 3 or 4 times in the 9 years that I've owned it, but it sure is handy in certain tight access situations.

I found the Snap-on version at a swap a couple years ago for $5. Didn't know if I had over paid or not!

Have the snappy 3/8 version probably my least used ratchet ever. Handy when needed. But rarily needed. Mac and matco have 1/4 versions that are almost identical to that blue point model. I wouldnt say its fake. They just werent around long.

Tried to get this ratchet just because I thought it looked different. No idea how good or useful it is. Price went up to more than I'm willing to pay not knowing anything about it. Figured someone here might know more or be interested in it

I've got one of those (not the brand, but the design), it's kind of like a crowsfoot in motion when using the action (might as well use an actual crowsfoot right?). Complete garbage in my opinion, might be okay with a better brand but probably not truly necessary.

I can't really think of a situation where it would be great to use. Obstruction sure but then how you gonna get a torque wrench in there (oh yeah, extension, so just use an extension on a regular ratchet bro!). Half of these crazy tools are like fancy shoes for women; just get you to buy something new not necessarily make anything easier or not something you can't do with something else.

I have a older Stanley (87-998) ratchet that is about the same idea. Used it a bit when I was in high school. With all the different crowsfoot wrenches and torque adapters I really dont have a need for it. Ive also upgraded my ratchets a bit.
