I found a small nail puller a while back and I don’t think the symbols mean Made In USA. It’s kind of a useful little thing, though.

Dogyu, maybe? I can't find a good pic of the forge marks they put on that style of nail puller. I've got one around here somewhere, I'll see if I can find it.

I would guess these are at least 50 years old. The buddy who gave them to me was actually born in Japan (Navy Brat) and he's now nearly 70. These were his dad's.

That's pretty darn cool. I wonder if they were a commercial product, or something made by a blacksmith... or a commercial product made by a blacksmith? I wonder what those characters mean.

There's gotta be somebody around here that can read Japanese.... of course this gaijin can't tell the difference between Chinese, Japanese, Korean writing.....
