Cool Score: Old Mercury Air Compressor...

I helped out a friend who inherited a mess of a yard. I spotted this- a WWII era air compressor made by Mercury Outboards. Mercury made these utility motors and sold them and also mated them to sell air compressors, water pumps and even chain saws ! ! I mess around with old outboards and I had seen a couple of these on ebay over the years so I was pleased to find this scarce item. I traded him a Tanfoglio .25 for this and an early 80's Yamaha 175 duo bike.

Info for these are hard to find so if you got something or have info please let me know. Thanks

Man, I do wish it were mine! The cool factor is just off the charts, so much so that it does not even matter if it runs or not, though running would be the icing on the cake.

I have not gone over it yet...too many projects. I'm trying to search for a manual first...Thanks for the compliments..I was happy to get it.
