Cool Snap-On 357D...

Just saw this on my local Craigslist. ...not in my current price range, but I love this series, and I've never seen one with this paint scheme before.

Did Snap-On ship a box with this paint?

...just too cool for school in a '70s way.

I don't think any came with that paint but not 100%. That was an 80's paint theme. love the boxes. Would love to have a nice set. My favorite Snap-On boxes ever. They didn't cost 3500 new, I bought a set brand new in 1982(?) when they first came out. I think the price for top and bottom was around 1500

Yeah, I love those boxes, and I will find one some day. ...just don't think I want to pay $1500 for one just yet.

I just thought that was a cool paint job. ...and that small side door looks like it should have the "eye" from the HAL 9000 in the middle of it for some reason.
