I like the idea, but for $120 he is smoking something. A ratchet converted for bit use makes more sense, or use the right angle adapter in a ratcheting screwdriver.

What is the actual angle drive part from? I know it is from something commercially available that I have seen somewhere. My impression of whatever that was was that it was neat but sort of on the borderline between decent tools and absolute "this replaces 847 wrenches for only $9.99" junk. Looks like basic body is diecast, probably not a real problem in awkward sideways screwdriving but not impressive either.

Its a "Skewdriver". I had one and it was handy as heck for interior work etc. Unfortunately I stripped it out using it on my cordless drill (it comes with its own plastic handle which is removable, allowing you to drive it with a drill)

http://www.spectools.com/spec.htm

pulling off the plastic handle it already comes with just to have a snapon handle is kinda dumb, for 120 bucks

Neat tool.

Using the e-bay seller's philosophy of the pseudo Snap-On origin then , I'm going to go out and put a set of Lamborghini wheels on a new Ford Focus and ask double the price of what each cost individually and call it a custom Lambo Focus.

Geesh. Deceptive ebay selling practices at their finest.

I especially like:

Snap On Angle Screwdriver Custom Fabricated, Red

Please make sure to read description and ask me any questions before buying since returns are not available.

Which of course happens to be the entire description.

My Milwaukee Skew Driver which is at least 20 years old has an RPM limit. It works fine with a cordless screwdriver, but if it goes over about 500 rpms, it will blow apart. If you can find all the pieces, it's easy to reassemble.

I have one of those Scewdrivers, handy as all get out pulling trim and junk off on older cars with a cordless drill.

Should the seller be reported to snap-on, do they even sell these?

I wonder what SO would do if someone sent one in for warranty.

SO should contact them and ask if they could get a deal on 6 of them, if he says yes, bang, they're busted.
