Not a garage, but still a very cool space.

What does the outside of this neat little place look like?

It's a 1940's grain bin converted into a 1 bedroom home.

I'd love to have some property in the TX hill country with a few of these connected together with breezeways. The kitchen and dining would be in one unit, the master bedroom/bath in another, and living/office/2nd bedroom in a third. Install a nice solar panel system and convert an old windmill or two for power, dig a well, and build a giant shop/barn with reclaimed materials.

It's not mine, it's at a B&B in New Braunfels, TX. I'm seriously thinking of doing something like this on a lake lot in the next 5-10 years.

Oops, thanks Jack.

I was going to say,"i think I've seen that place"... lol
I used to live in NB.... if I ever move out of Alaska again, I'll be returning to the texas hill country... love it there...
but I love AK more... :lol_hitti

Cool home.

In high school a pal and I had a project we did together in where we designed a home inside a large water tower.

It was cool had an elevator shaft up the middle to get to the living quarters, and had a spiral slide going down around the elevator shaft.

We both got A's:thumbup:
