Cool trans jack

I ran across a cool old jack on Craigslist today. Unfortunately I'm on my iPad so I can pull the picture directly.

The last thing I need is a massive old trans jack. I'm sure with the screw lift I'm sure it is a bear to work with. Anyway I'm sure someone here knows all about it.

I guess the crank handle ratchets or you'd have a heck of a time raising the thing.
