I think the way he is working it is both boxes are for sale for a total price of 60. I've seen similar threads and you call, they are only selling top or bottom. Never the set, for whatever reason
I'm 3 hrs away. If i didnt have tonwork this weekend would be worth it to go to get it. Be long gone before inhave time for it

Urgh. Why did you have to post this? lol.

Now I have to call my buddy in FL to see if he will do me a favor...

I know, right? The worst part of the ad to me is that it says "OBO" Hells bells, I'd be tempted to offer him more for the set out of principle, if he were closer to me!

Those are decent boxes. I don't know who made em for SK but they are pretty heavy.
I've had one overstuffed for a while now and it was abused in its former life.

those are waterloo made
Correct, I have the identical
set in red with a Dayton nameplate. Aside from the reversed side panels on the bottom unit and different pulls, the drawers will swap with the red and gray Craftsman of the era. They swapped the same parts around to make slightly different looking boxes.

I got a hold of the guy, he wants $60 for both of them, not each. I'm on the fence though, I already have too many tool boxes as it is. If I was looking for tool boxes it would be machinist boxes.

Just don't know.

Sounds like a good deal, though more drawers might be better than that big bottom bin. It is not a bargain if you don't need it. Only you can decide. It is pretty cheap. If you have the room buy it.You can always sell it. At least you won't agonize over losing it.I have the Dayton and the almost identical Craftsman. They are OK I have no great attachment to them or any Waterloo product. I like my HF 44" set a lot more.

Are you saying I misspelled drawers or used a homonym? The internet is full of "chest of drawers " Post a link to chest of DROORS. There are always obscure secondary spellings. If spelling or correct grammar were a
requirement here, we would all be in trouble but nobody gives a s***

I think he's just making fun of the guy who wrote the ad. That's how he spelled it.

I thought I was the only one with that sickness. lol.

I save things now for my pilgrimage to Twertsy's Tool Temple. I'm hoping to be worthy of whatever sits behind those gates.

Oops, sorry, I missed that. On this site my spell checker is definitely off . Spelling errors are so rampant, I ignore them, I don't want to embarass anybody. I make plenty , too
