I don't like how the legs get attached to the bottom cross-braces where the wheels are mounted. A mortise and tenon or exterior plates would greatly increase the strength.

they have lag bolts going into the end-grain of fir, If you have a bit of a load on there, push too quickly and the wheels hit something you could end up with a toppling workbench.

Things like this are always just for ideas. You take the basic idea on then make it to fit your needs.

I have two roll around benches that are 4' X 6' and I use 4 X 4's for the legs. One has 5" casters and the other one has 3" casters that I'm going to swap out so it moves easier.

I'd be really surprised if you had an issue with those lags. Not my ideal design, but very stout. Antique beds are bolted up like that, and they stay tight for generations. You drill two pilot holes, one for the shank, and one for the threads. I have even ground cutter flutes in the threads upon occasion.

Use Doug Fir, not Spruce or Pine. It only gets stronger as it ages.
