I have a manual coolant pressure tester for automotive use. Its homeowner grade and has a quick connect from the pump to the testing cap. It leaks at that quick connect. I don't think it can be unscrewed like a normal air hose quick connect. Is there something i can put on the cap to make it seal better? I was thinking petroleum jelly but didnt want to mess up the pressure gauge. It looks like this one. https://www.amazon.com/HiwowSport-Universal-Radiator-Pressure-Detector/dp/B0BZVL86GD/ref=sr_1_45?crid=1XZGB9SKBN1FW&keywords=pressure+tester+for+coolant+system&qid=1703383591&sprefix=pressure+tester+,aps,133&sr=8-45

fro, those pics it looks like the quick disconnect and hose are crimped together.
might be able to find a replacement hose, or possible cobble something together with parts/pieces from a hyd hose shop.
for the price of the kit, i'd probably just buy a new kit

It looks like the Astro pneumatic's 78585. Go here and down load the parts break down ASTRO You may be able to order a replacement hose from them.

That QC fitting has a hex on it (like for a wrench). If it were me, I would attempt to disassemble one of the caps that I didn't think I would use. That way you can find out what's inside, and go from there.

Sorry i did not answer correctly. The leak is between the two quick connect air parts. On mine that cap is a solid piece. I'm going to soak the qc part that moves overnight in some oil and see if i can lubricate it enough to hold the seal. If that doesnt work i'll get a new kit.
