cooling a 300 sq ft room

How many BTU's will it take to cool down a 300sq ft room ? Semi insulated.
Location is in Florida
Usage, will be a compressor room attached to the garge. Want to use a stand alone AC unit.

Don't forget to add the heat that will be generated by the compressor (3.412 BTUs per watt).

I use a 12k btu window ac through the wall to keep my 400sqft garage at 76* here in FL.
