Saw this on another site, interesting.
Hole saw cooling tip
At SoCo, often we'd drill into 1/4" SS in the control room.
The hole saw would only last a short time, in this area you could Not use cutting fluid or cutting oil.

One guy at Plant Bowen came up with using Ductseal inside the hole saw.
[A play dough like product]
It turned out this removed more heat from the hole saw and allowed multiple uses without replacement due to dulling of the teeth!
It worked much better than using any of the high tech cooling agents we had in stock!

Here's a generic product similar to the electrical sealing item we used.
