All the sets I've used or seen are not quite universal.

Couldn't find one that fits a simple 2017 Chevy Express 2500. Odd being it's just a GM product but nonetheless.

Anyone seen one that would have a compatible adapter?

The Harbor Freight Maddox tester has a universal adapter kit available, I’m usually able to find one that fits most things. Other option is a Stant with a specific fit cap.

I use this AST for most GM applications. I was doing so much work on Cruze/trax at one point I decided to upgrade. If you buy something like the astro pneumatic master kit it will typically have whatever you need. Issue being they're plastic and the feeling of plastic on plastic while tightening can sometimes confuse you into thinking it's the wrong pitch or it's seated when it isn't.

Per their listing it should fit your application, it just uses the generic "big cap" from a 3 piece pressure tester kit as the interface to whatever pressure tester or vacuum filler you have.

Are you looking to buy a set or just use it occasionally? I have rented from my local auto parts store a set to use on various cars that I own from Ford to Mercedes, to BMWs and when I return the set I get a refund.
can’t ask for better than that.

Was really looking to buy a comprehensivr set. We have several different branded sets and none had the correct threaded adapter for this vehicle. And I'm sure this has happened other times I just can't remember the specific application.

they are exclusively in the business of solving problems:

Assenmacher / Assenmacher Specialty Tools, Inc., 6440 Odell Place, Boulder, CO 80301 / https://asttool.com/ / "AST" / est. 1978 / patent 4040763 Aug 9 1977 Gerhard Assenmacher / automotive specialty tools /

Only other one on the market I know of that covers all vehicles is the one they rent out at Advance Auto Parts (rental is free, deposit is just shy of $200.)
