Today I have made some airline installation. It´s the first time I been working with copper tubes som some bends are not perfect. I have used only screwconnections.

I also have bought some black tube normally used for protectong cables and put over the copper tubes.

Looks good. I've never seen bent copper.

What are those white clips? Any close up pictures of them?

Looks nice and clean as does all your Work! Did you start with soft copper or did you anneal the hard stuff? Are thouse fittings the type that the tubes are flared 37.5° on the ends?

Thanks!

To bend the copper I barrowed a tool from a local shop. It looks somthing like this.

The clips are normally used in bathrooms to keep the waterpipes in place.

William...

Thanks for the nice words!

The fittings looks like this picture here below (except the colour) and I have just cut the copper pipes and the put the fittings on, works really well and I have checked all the fittings tonight and there are no airleak anywhere.

I haven´t done anything to the copperpipes and here we call them semihard pipes

Looks great! I was just going to post asking about doing this. Is there any link with info on the proper way to run the pipe? I remember seeing something a long time ago, about diameters, and tilting the pipe at a slight downward angle (5 degrees or something?) and putting water traps and couplers every so many feet...

Is it this link your are looking for? http://www.sharpe1.com/dr-pipe.htm it was that side I used for planning my installation

I have noticed a small pressuredrop during the night so now I am trying to find the leak. I use soapwater is there any better way? I have found 2 places already and hopefully I have fixed the leakage now.

Any way to isolate the sections, ie did you use ball valves?

Thanks!

I tested a new way to find leaks. I did put a balloon over the end fittings and left them over night. In the morning I could just check which one that had air in it. I did find 2 minor leaks with this test that I didn´t find with soapwater. This morning I couldn´t see on the gauge that I have lost any pressure in the system since yesterday. Hopefully all fittings are OK now.
