copper airline through wall - fire hazard?

I'm installing my air compressor and copper airline plumbing this week. I got it wired up and lag bolted to the concrete pad out back today. It's a 7.5HP 80 gallon 25cfm@175psi Ingersoll-Rand with a 3/4" output. The compressor is outside, I need to run airline to the inside- what I'm worried about is: how hot will the output pipe get? Hopefully not hot enough to make for a fire hazard as it comes through the wooden wall into the shop?

Here's my plan:
-Drill hole through wall (insulated 2x4 stud wall is two layers of OSB, Tyvek, vinyl siding)
-Push piece of 1" gray PVC through hole.
-From outside, push 3/4"copper with threaded fitting sweated on through PVC until it just comes through the wall on the inside and caulk into place. The caulking I've got is good to ~140°.
-Run 3' length of 4000psi hydraulic line from tank to copper at wall.

The copper going through the wall will only be only 3' away from the tank output. How hot is this line going to be? So hot as to make for a fire hazard? I've never messed with hard airlines, nor a compressor of this size before. Any guidance would be appreciated...

That will work fine for you. Make sure to use a short length of flex hose between the compressor and the copper line.

It will only get "warm" and thats directly after the outlet... put 6 inches of line between the compressor and the wall and dont worry about it. I can hold onto my air lines after it has cycled a few times and they are fine

The tank and maybe the lines will feel warm to the touch after several cycles but not "hot", just warm.

The only thing that gets hot enough for you not to be able keep your hand on it will be the pump itself and probably the motor too. Even those I doubt would be warm enough to kindle a fire, they don't get that hot, just hot to the human skin.

Thanks everyone for your reassurance. I'll run the copper through the wall and not worry about it. Heck, I might even post pictures when I get done... :bounce:
