I seen ppl discuss replacing factory jaws with brass or similar although I have seen no straight answer on copper jaw covers for a toddler….. The smallest I have seen is a 3 inch set. So the question is did Wilton ever make jaw covers for 2-1/2” as I have seen several for the 2”…. Someone fill me in where I can stop searching or continue my search for a NOS pair.

Wilton did make 2 1/2" copper jaw COVERS in their "Chicago" and "Schiller park" factories. I have two pair of "Chicago" covers. They have never been used or fitted.
But Wilton did not make brass jaws.
'Hobby garage' sells some on eBay sometimes.
You might get lucky checking Craigslist, garage sales, ebay, but there is A LOT of competition... These I found a week ago on Craigslist. The last time I saw some available was in 2018.

I machined a new set of brass jaws for my Wilton vise as part of the restoration. Not too difficult to do, but it did take longer than expected.
