Can you run Copper Tubing (for propane heater) in the wall?

That one would be a local code I bet. For example someone on here mentioned they aren't allowed to have black pipe with joints in teh walls where they live. That is ok here. I have 1" black pipe feeding natural gas to my boiler and appliances and it runs in the walls.

right or wrong I would stay away from that.
a few years back a favorite restaurant at the fair grounds burnt to the ground when someone drove a screw into a cooper gas line in the wall.
wouldn't have happen with black pipe.
Just something to think about.

Old timers used to call copper pipe for gas lighting "Fire Wire" for a reason. It would thin out as it aged / corroded and pin holes would open up.

IMO, NO.

Use black pipe or don't use gas. Go electric.

I have worked in 17 states on mostly commercial building (Restaraunts & Shops)and running copper in the wall for gas is a big NO some let you do Iron but most want it on show. Mdpe (plastic) can usually be used externally but never inside.

In my state of Illinois copper can be used outside but for inside must be black pipe or Paraflex or equalivelent.

In Maine you have to use the plastic coated copper if you are using copper
