Where can I get fitting to put a cord through a 1/2 knock out?
I have seen it on lift pump electric cords etc but not sure where they sell one.

Yep, that's what I used. Another tip for buyong cords, buy an extension cord and cut the end off instead of buying a tool cord. They are usually a bit cheaper and you can get them longer if you need it.

thanks guys, I think the plastic one will have to do. It's for a mini split interconnect "cable" (don't want to say cord...) I want to seal it against water.

For it to seal and work right, you have to know the OD of the cable/cord you are using and make sure it's between the max and min OD for the given fitting. The HD one is for cables .260" to .375".

They make "CGB" conduit fittings (cable gland fitting) for many conduit size / cable OD combinations.
