Made these hangers today and thought I would share them. Very simple to make from scraps of just about anything. I had some flat bar and steel pipe bits so I used those. Just by varying the length of the center and front pieces the bracket can be made to accommodate any size cord or hose. I also made a larger under mount hanger for my bigger air hose but I forgot to take a picture.

Great idea! Thanks for the pics.

Now, fellow Canuck, tell me about your vice. Never heard of RAE but looks very cool! (it's not the vice but the Princess Auto box that gives you away.....:))

You can buy V shaped hangers from Harbor Freight for $2 on sale frequently.

And you know what? I'd still rather build them myself. There's a lot more satisfaction and pleasure in making them yourself. They have a lot more value in the end.

I love the 14.4. I find the 18 is just too big and heavy. That drill has been thrashed pretty heavy for 10 years. I have another about 3 years old in the truck for work and a brand new one I just picked up on sale for 125.00. It was worth it just for the batteries. The XRP is about the best tool DeWalt makes. Some of there tools are pretty junkie. I have always used their circular saws as I have xxl hands and the B&D/DeWalt saws have the most clearance between the handle and the blade guard.
