Cord Reel Dress Up

Picked up a little metal sign at swap meet yesterday. Thought it was an easy way to dress up a cheap Chinese cord reel.

That looks cool. Never thought of doing that even though my reels are US made.

Now it looks like the glass globes on-top of old gas pumps.

I like the inexpensive tin signs, I have some in the garage screwed to a masonry wall, and others on the ends of toolbox cabinets. I'm partial to vintage motorcycle signs, the originals are usually $$$, I don't feel-bad about going with a reproduction.
