I have the dewalt 18v and love it. I have several batteries so I haven't used a corded saw since getting this one

Are table saws dangerous? Everyone I know with one is missing at least one finger from it.

I have been using them for many years and no injuries. I keep the blade guard and splitter on the saw, use a push stick, stay out of the line of the wood and wear the proper PPE.

I have a Porter Cable 18V NiCad saw that came as part of a kit with drill, recip saw and light. It's great for cutting deck boards or a relatively short number of feet of cutting.

Got the 36v Dewalt full size 7 1/4 blade, it might still no match with a corded saw, however I haven't used any other battery circular saw as good as this one... On top of that you're using standard blades...

I have reciprocating saw, spotlight and Hammer drill all in 36v and love my kit, I have this one for 5 years now and really happy with it. Batteries are amazing ! Ok, tools are a bit heavy with those 36v batteries...
