Cordless impact

I am looking for a cordless impact gun for lug bollts/nuts that uses a Li battery. What brand to look for and also stay away from.

i dont see any cordless impact wrench that use Litiuam battery today. but i own the Goodyear impact wrench and it is work really good but it is louds ( i dont care about because i am deaf.)

i did use snap on cordless impact wrench which is mother of the cordless impact wrench. i like it but i dont buy it because it is cost almost 400 dollars.

i know craftsman professional cordless impact wrench will do the jobs on lug nuts as 250 lug nuts per one charged battery..... but it is cost 200 dollars or more....

Personally, when I looked (albeit some time ago) they just didn't have anything that really impressed me.

if it for home use then just use breaker bar and socket then you will save moneys than spend on cordless tools and not work or wont impact the lug nut to remove.....

I have used three of those Snap On guns, tons of power, we use them for unloading truck loads of trailers (uninstalling/installing lugs) and building boat hoists at customers shorelines. One of the guys also has one of those Goodyear guns, it’s pretty impressive... I thought about getting one when they were down to $65 on black Friday, just didn’t have the money to spend on an item like that.

i have use my goodyear cordless impact wrench and i wish that i buy other battery so i can use one battery while other battery charging. but i dont...
i used it a lot at my work where i cant use air tool to do work in car like pull dash off for replacement dash because dash was mess up from sun where make heat on stuff and make it like heat shrink...

even i use it to work out of my work to work on dealer lot to install all lock lug nut because some of people stole spare tire from jeep wranglers...

Yeah they seem like a really good deal, I wouldn’t say it is much louder then the Snap Ons, just a different noise to them. I believe the batteries are like $45-50, seems like a lot for something that cost around $80 for everything.

i use my goodyear cordless impact wrench at my work and they complaint about my cordless impact wrench because it is noise. but later my tech friend asked me to borrow cordless impact wrench so he can bring to home and do side job at his place (he do automotive repair for his family.... he said it is good tool to bring out but he still said it is louds....

More snap on propoganda =]

Snap On cordless Impact removed like 80 more 7/8 bolts torqued to 200ftlbs than the Dewalt, and like 100 more than the IR. Of course the Snap On costs alot more... Snap On cordless tools are nice, but FAR from being worth the price. My boss uses a snap on 18v drill at work for removing screws and stuff. Its nice, well balanced and powerful, but Honeslty I like my Dewalt Just as much and it was ALOT less. Id look at Dewalt because they have such an extensive line of 18v stuff. Interestingly enough, the Milwaukee was excluded from that Snap On trial. I wouldnt be surprised if it outmuscled the Snap On's.

Dewalt or milwaukee LI line gets my vote.

I love my two Dewalt impacts, I wouldn't hesitate to buy them again. They get my vote because they can be had inexpensively and they have a great selection of tools.

I personally have had bad luck with craftsman power tools so I would stay away from them

yes i bought it at pep boy while it was on sale 79.99 dollars.... i still have it since one year and still use. i use it much in car where i dont want air hose drag in car....

We started using Milwaukee 28V tools at work. No other way to put it except that they are awesome. They rival corded tools. We do not have the impact nor have I used one, BUT, based on the other tools I think this may fit yout needs.

or the bare tool... these can use the lithium ion 18v packs, but you need the newer charger

I have a weird feeling the snap on doesn't make the 550 ftlbs they claim
