Hi guys,

I'm in the market for a cordless LED work light for under the hood, under the car, and sometimes inside the car. The ones with magnets and hooks seem useful for under the hood. When under the car, I need it to be able to stand and not roll around. The other day I was removing a door panel and realized there's no where to hang my corded light, and it can't stand on its own. Here are the 3 I'm interested in. What's your experience/opinions on these?

Torchstar

Capri Tools

Cliplight
http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00PYIMHRC/ref=pd_aw_sim_hi_2?refRID=0JBWKANQ57DVJC7EEJQV

All of them have over 200 lumens, Torchstar can stand on its own, Capri Tools has the most (300) lumens, and the Cliplight doesn't have built in rechargeable battery.

true, headlamps are better. from what I have seen, most cheap LED bar work lights are dim and poorly focused.

IMO Zebralight pure flood headlamp is best for close-up work.

I have a monster brand underhood led light that clamps on the hood and I couldn't recommend it more.
