Cordless poilsher like the Milwaukee M12 is a specific tool to polish small area like A or B-pillars on cars.

Is it worth it? Yes. And I detail my own cars too.

If you do any painting or detailing, then absolutely. I have owned the Matco Infiniti line for 4 plus years and use it weekly. I'm about to invest in the Milwaukee M12 Fuel polisher and hand my Matco down to my son in law.

Griot's also makes a small polisher, but it doesn't have much power for heavy correction or very hard clear coats. It is quite useful as a wax applicator/remover though.

The only one I'm aware of is the 2438 which is brushed. If they are bringing out a Fuel (brushless) that'd be cool.
