Batteries have spoiled me. All my big guns are pneumatic Paslode: PP, roofer & compact framer. Porter Cable pneumatic for the small stuff and everything I own with a battery is yellow/dewalt 20 or 60 flex. Have yellow finish & brad.

Dewalt makes a battery PP gun and a battery framer but I don't think either of them are combo guns. If one exists I'd consider it regardless of color/brand. In a perfect world it would be 30deg paper.

Thanks.

PP like for tico/hanger nails? I don’t know of one on the market that shoots both those and framing nails, and definitely not in cordless. The hanger nails are spaced like 1/4” on the strip to allow the PP end, and framing nails are stacked together with the paper so they’re two different animals

Not that I'm aware of. I just finished installing Simpson H2.5As. About 500 of them!

I'm not a framer and thought a PP nailer was never going to be used again and a bit steep in price, so I thought a palm nailer wouldn't be too slow...wrong!

I would go back in time and bought a Hitachi or Paslode, even if I had to sell it at the end. When I was looking, there aren't many models to chose from, anyway. As I recall, there was only PP nailer that had longer nails, most only do something like 1 1/2".

Maybe a framer in Florida or the Gulf Coast can chime in; these hardware stuff is more common out there.

Good luck.

I've used that gun a ton for regular framing and only a few times for PP stuff. The one I linked is the 21 degree. I think they also make a 33 degree that does both too.

Not sure I could justify a battery framer unless it did both functions. Really just making up excuses to buy a toy. I barely use my framer and palm/hammer would be fine for the amount I do hangars.
