How do you do it? Do you have a nice rack to hold the drills with slots for batteries, or is there a drawer somewhere that keeps it all nice and cozy?

Not a problem here. I tossed out all tools that need batteries because I hate dead batteries.

Everything I own has a 120v power cord and works without hassle every day I need it.

Pegboard. I use the special hangers they make for drills, and then just postion regular hangers as needed for the rest. I built a tiny wooden shelf just big enough to hold my charger and mount that on the wall beside the outlet.

I put them all in an overhead cabinet. I still have to take pics, but last weekend i rearranged the garage.......The cabinet i used is 3 doors wide--approx 44" wide. Middle door has no shelf, outer two have shelves. I put the chargers in the middle, and the drills on the lower left bottom, circular saw on upper left...sawzall hanging on back wall in center, al Dewalt. On the bottom right is my Craftsman 12v setup.

My drills stand up in holes cut to fit the battery. The drill stands in the hole. The additional batteries are always on the smart charger which has it's own mount elsewhere.

On my HF 13 drawer, I moved the two larger drawers to the top. More convenient for me to have the impacts close to the socket drawer. Chargers sit on top of the box.

Unfortunately they tend to lay where they fall in the garage (soon to change after this summer) but in the basement work area there is a shelf that I keep the chargers, batteries and tools on for easy access & charging.

During the winter months I keep them in the house. (I don't heat my garage except when I'm in it during the winter.) I the warmer months they reside in the open compartment between my top & bottom Craftsman roll around toolbox.

That HF cabinet looks good next to the craftsman chests. If you hadn't said it was HF I wouldn't have guessed it.

i made a shelf in my reloading room to hold all my chargers, and attached a large powerstrip on the wall behind the shelf
older drills are piled up in a drawer in one of the toolboxes
newer drills are in the soft case/bag they came in.

i dont leave my cordless stuff in the garage at all.
i seem to use them more in the house.

I keep all mine in their cases and store them on a three shelf wall unit. I have the kits all put together so everything I need is in the box.
