Cordless sheet sander?

New poster.. didn't see this question covered here..

Looking for opinions/recommendations on a battery-powered sheet sander.

USE: Mostly woodworking, but my current desire is to have something highly portable with dust collection that I intend to use 20+' up on a ladder.. prepping my ~140YO house trim before priming/painting.
I'm not all cord-less.. I'll still have to hang a corded shop-vac off the ladder (or drag it up to the roof).. but one less cord to deal with would help.
Also, I'm going to be knocking down paint that undoubtedly has lead in it so good dust collection is a must. I don't want to turn my lot into a super-fund site after all.

OPTIONS: So far, I'm really interested..
1) Bosch GSS18V-40N. I just can't seem to find it sold as a Kit w/ battery and charger. I'm not invested in the Bosch 18V cordless universe so I need the extras.
2) I also see a Rigid 18V brushless cordless 1/4 sheet sander that's tempting. Currently $108 for the next 10 hours. :-/. I've had generally good luck with Rigid tools.. aside from my last semi-random orbital. being a bit 'wobbly' and finally burning out the brushes (not an issue with the above).
3) I originally looked at a Festool RTSC (I really like my RO 125).. but the price is killer.. and I've not bought into their battery system either.

One advantage with the Bosch is the ability to switch plates.. to move from a sheet to a pointed 'precision' paper base. I don't want to end up paying even more for a bare tool and separate batteries & charger.. but I really can't find it available as a kit.

So.. any suggestions?
Has anyone tried any of these?
Quality of dust control?
Recommend anything else?
General feedback on run-time and added value of going cordless w/ a sheet sander?

Dust control? Up on a ladder on the outside of the house, probably with a breeze blowing the dust away. Would you want the dust control to be a small bag that fills rapidly so you have to climb down to empty it frequently? Or a really long hose?

The Dewalt 1/4 sheet corded gets high reviews. I bought the HF Hercules for a quick job and later saw some tests on the DeWalt. Oh well...

I've got a few 5" corded ROS sanders and that's usually what I use mostly for general sanding and furniture building, even used them for automotive repaint jobs. For any heavy sanding and stripping, that's what you want to use. I bought a Bosch to sand the exterior of my wood clapboards back in 2015 and that's what I used with #40 and #80 sandpaper (single story tho) hooked up to a Festool CT36(?) vacuum. My test were not conclusive as to lead, so I followed all the EPA recommendations and guidelines using suit, respirator, plastic sheeting to collect the chips and HEPA vacuum. Used that thick Peelstop primer afterwards.
