I have the 1/4" ratchet and have the 3/8" on order. I will check the spec sheet tomorrow, but I believe the 1/4" is rated at 30 lbs of torque and the 3/8" at 55 lbs.

The 1/4" is great and based on how good it is, I ordered the 3/8" drive. The standard battery for the 3/8" is 2.0 amp hr vs 1.5 amp hr that has been standard on the 10.8 & 12.0 volt tools, so that should provide the needed punch for a 3/8" drive.

Thanks. I have been looking at the IR 14.4v 3/8 but that big *** battery is keeping me from getting it so far, but I like the 70ftlbs. May just go with the ACdelco ARW1201, basicly the same specs as the Matco for $150 vs $300-350 for the IR or Matco. IR and ACdelco comes with 2 batteries vs Matco with 1.

That's not a 7150 in the video

That's not the IR 7150 so not a current comparison I guess.
I know - I was responding to this:

The youtube video of the snap on beating the Ingersoll impact to the point it smokes is not factual. They put their newest impact up against an older Ingersoll and the snap on was more powerful than it. My snap on guy tried to show it to me to sell me one and i pointed that out and made him look like an idiot. I wanted the w7150 but went with a Matco so I xould make payments. Snap on is trying to fool people with that vid. You won't ever see them go up against a w7150. It would snap the nose off the snap on gun lol

Cordless ratchets I have not used but the impacts do work really well I use the mini Makita 12v all day for valve covers and under body panels and the cord does not get in your way like a pneumatic does

Your specs on the 3/8" Matco is right. You will love it, I've had one for a couple weeks. Bought it as soon as I could. My Matco guy said they actually went up in price a little; I paid $250 for it and one of the new 12v batteries after a $50 trade-in of an old impact I never use. It has the same exact body as the 1/4" version with a different motor and head...it feels really nice in your hands. I love the Inifinium line too; I may be adding the 18v drill and grinder if I can find them. Their impacts are awesome too (except the first Infinium 3/8 version...that was weak and the newer one is SO much better).

Figured I would update this since I purchased the milwaukee M12 1/4 ratchet and M18 1/2 impact kit. I am sold on the 1/4 ratchet, I love this thing. Should have bought it a long time ago. Not as happy with the 1/2 impact. It is rated for 450 ft/lbs and 640 ftlbs breakaway torque. It will take off most everything I need it to, but going back on is a little harder to judge how tight something is. Seems like it starts hammering earlier than a pneumatic impact. And it definitely need a selector like the pneumatic impacts have.

Another update.

I bought these tools on Dec 21 and just broke the anvil on the M12 1/4" drive ratchet today. This ***** cause now I have to go back to an air hose til I can get a new anvil.
