Cordless vs Pneumatic

In your experience, do cordless impacts loose any torque (assuming the battery is still good) like pneumatic impacts do? I have a cordless and haven't notices any change, however, my many pneumatic impacts all have lost their youthful punch.

Pneumatic impacts can suffer from air motor vane wear. Also have you greased the air impact?

Got a CP 860 die grinder from the early 90's thats hardly got any torque at all.
It has been used a lot, though.

when the batteries are good they keep fairly consistant torque. but i still like my air tools better. because every 2-3 years the batteries on the cordless tools are completely dead, even when i take care of them like the manufacturer specifies. so the longevity of my air tools far surpasses the battery life of my cordless tools every time.

All my impacts are IR. I have a 3/8 and a 1/2 Pneumatic K cases and love them. I have to say they have seen a lot of use and abuse but haven’t lost a step. With that being said I also have a 1/2 IR cordless impact. I am on my second set of batteries and it has noticeably lost a step. They are great for changing tires in the campground or on the trail but that is it. Stick with the air tools and wont be disappointed. Also, my cordless is NiCad, not lithium.

I oil frequently and rebuild them as necessary. I was basically just wondering if anyone has noticed any loss of torque w/ a cordless w/ a good battery. I assume no, but...

Sorry, I should have been more specific.
Yes, in the 5 years I have owned my cordless it is noticeably weaker even with new batteries. It use to power off lug nuts. Now it takes much more time and effort, even with new batteries. And the batteries go dead much faster.
