A guy at work has some seal pullers that look like very large cork screws for wine bottles. He cant remember where he got them and i cant find them online. They work excellent for removing a seal while the shaft is still in place. Anyone familiar with them?

If you're talking about pull a rope seal or packing, yes. I've got a number of them made by several different companies.

Is this what you're talking about?
