That Chevy turned out great! It's funny how they got the fender door and lower cowl but didn't touch the running board.

Amazing work. Been following you on Instagram but I am glad you now have this thread since it is easier to show the evolution process of your work.

Just read through your thread.... what a talented craftsman :bowdown:

Great save on the 39, and the brake booster recess is genius...

I will be watching for more...

been working on a making some new quarter panels for a model a sedan we are working on

making paper patterns

laying the pattern out on steel and cutting it out

shrinking the rear compound curve into the panel

test fitting to the car and laying out lower body lines and wheel arches for the larger tire

lower body line and wheel arch put in

turning the edges of the panel to fit in the factory seams, as well as the lip around the bottom of the body and wheel arch to attach the inner wheel well to

inner wheel well made in clipped in place

a little more finish work and weld up the inner wheel well and this one will be finished, not to do the other side and a new rear panel

Man o man, mind blown! Every photo is a gem. And now for my favorite question of late. What type and gauge steel are you using for these projects?

Thanks,
John
