Cornwell 3/8" Handle Driver: little help please...

I'm wondering if there are any Cornwell fans and/or dealers here who can help me track down a part number for a 3/8" handled driver. I'm sure I've seen them before, but I couldn't find any listing in Cornwell's current catalog, and the girl I spoke with at Cornwell was new and didn't know anything about it.

Basically it's an 8 or 10 inch 3/8" extension with one of their blue, square plastic handles, and it has a 3/8" female drive in the handle end.

Any part number or information on this tool's availability would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

I can get you the part number, but they were discontinued about 3 years ago. I sent an email directly to customer service because I wanted one too.

Dang, I figured it was probably a discontinued tool since it isn't in their current catalog. If you do find the part number, I'd certainly appreciate you posting it here, and thanks for the response.

I did notice that other companies (SO, etc) make something similar, but at a price; I'd like to track down the one from Cornwell if I can. Thanks again.

They all have a rigid 3/8" drive shaft and the catalog is dated 2000.

HN-21PS 1-3/8" Shaft with 3/8" Female Square Drive (6" Overall)
HN-23PW 3" Shaft with Wobble Drive (7-1/4" Overall)
HN-24PS 4-13/32" Shaft with 3/8" Female Drive (9" Overall)
HN-27PS 7-13/32" Shaft with 3/8" Female Drive (12" Overall)

Thanks you much for the part numbers! This should certainly help in tracking some down.

Bluepoint used to make one too as I have one, but can't get it to come up on Snap-on

$20 on Ebay:

http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw...nt+3/8"&_osacat=0&_trksid=p3286.c0.m270.l1313

A quick search of "3/8" spinners" on google.com shows Vim makes as set of locking for $15 and Armstrong makes one for $25

I also have a set I bought from the local O'reilly auto parts that are a little longer and have smaller handles that I really like, but could not find them online.

Thanks for the input. I have seen some 3/8" drivers available from other companies like Snap-on for example; the one from Cornwell seemed nice though, and if it was still being made (which according to the Cornwell folks, it isn't) I might buy one. I might poke around to try and find one, but I have the feeling it might be a needle in a haystack. I'm not keen on spending $30+ dollars on the Snap-on version, since it's a tool that'll likely see infrequent use.

McMaster Carr has some for cheap.

By the way, El Tanque, here are the MC part numbers if you're interested.

5 1/2" driver 5522A51 $8.12
7 1/4" driver 5522A77 $8.32
