Can't say for sure that remline was ever a box supplier for cornwell, but that one looks like a remline.

Ok, thanks. What's the quality like on those boxes? I know it has regular sliders for the drawers, no ball bearings.

I faintly remember reading that remline made there boxes for awhile, but I think it was well before the 75 anniversary years (could be wrong) I think Waterloo OEM's there current boxes, maybe fedwrench will chime in, I believe he has a good grasp on there history.

Similar looking remline box to the eBay link..

Remline up until 10 or so years ago was a good brand. Either way, who ever the box was made by, it would be a decetn quailty box that was sold to techs, so they had to hold up. Make sure everything with the box is functional as my understanding is cornwell does not have good support for non current boxes.

I found that box too, and it does look similar, but I found the specs of the drawers which are about 16 in deep and I believe the guy said the drawers are either 19.5 or 20 in deep.

Yes, Remline made the boxes for Cornwell before they switched to Kennedy. Now they're made by Waterloo in Mexico.

Right on the mark, Looks like it ended, was it bought here? Nice find for the history, a bit pricey for a box almost 25 years old if you don't care about the 75th anniv. part.

That seems odd to me, an 75th and friction rails. I would thought going the extra mile for their 75th.

I have that same 75th cornwell box setup along with the side cabinet, only mine is black. The two full length drawers are roller bearing and the rest of the drawers are slides. I got mine off of craiglist for $400 bucks :rocker:

I was told by a Cornwell that Waterloo made those boxes.
