Cornwell A-43 5/8" to 1/2" Adapter?

I found this at a flea market, not sure I've ever seen a 5/8" to 1/2" Adapter?

I've got a 5/8" Snap-on ratchet that was my Granddad's, with a 5/8" to 3/4" adapter for it,...

This socket doesn't look vintage but I don't know the dating for Cornwell.

Nice find. I'd probably call it vintage with those block not slant letters.

I needed a 1/2 to 5/8 adapter last year. Ended up grinding a 1/2 to 3/4 down to make it work.
