That's an awesome deal. Go for it. The box alone is worth a few hundred. It's on par with (and maybe better than) the Blue Point tool cart. The tools add up to a bit more than $700.00 based on eBay prices too.

I've owned a couple of those Cornwell carts, they usually sell used for $300- $400 range; but they're available off the truck for $699, so even if you consider that you paid full price for the cart, all the tools are free. I'd say go for it.

p.s. I like my Cornwell cart, it's heavier gauge steel than my Snap On KRA box.

I'm not a big fan of cornwell tools. But I would buy that up in a second.

I would go for it, as well as the extra $50 for the jack and compressor.

It's kind of curious that it's all in storage though

Thanks guys, yeah it looked like a good deal to me, just wanted to get an opinion before I tried to jump on it.

Paullew, What do you not like about Cornwell tools? I have never owned any so I have no opinion...

I do feel that Cornwell tools are lesser quality than Snap-on at virtually the same price level....but they are still very good. And that's a great deal you've got there. You could always make a nice profit if you decided to resell them.

A hot deal, probably "hot" tools also, looks like a bag and run, if he is selling them soo cheap.

I don't think so. I talked to this guy for 30 mins. He knew too much about what he had and about tools in general. He use to be a tech at a shop that failed. He moved back home and put his tools in storage and is now a full time student. He wants to turn them to cash ASAP... That's where I come in :bounce: I think this guy is on the up an up.

I would love to have this set. I have been looking for a deal like this for some time. Its a good and affordable way to get away from the Craftsman stuff that seems to be the only choice for me...

Lack of dealer support, too much rebranding, lack of dealer support, tools seem "cheaper" IMO

lack of dealer support....

BINGO...... Plus chicks dig Snap on

Cornwell will get the job done. Snap on will get you laid. Eenough said.

:beer:All kidding aside. That is a great deal and I would be all over it even for 1000. He priced it to sell. Its a buyers market out there. Chances are he is tired of paying for his storage unit. Best of luck. Nice score, and alot of tools for the $$, and a nice storage cart.

I'd buy it for the price but it's no Snap-On. I'm a Snappy *****. I hate my dealer however.

I have the bounty home now... It ended up being a much better deal then I thought. Going through it now and getting pics. Will post them up later. Two torx sockerts were missing out of one set, so he told me he would knock some off for the sockets and ended up giving me the air compressor and floor jack to make up for the missing sockets. And thats not all, it got even better. :bounce: It's Christmas all over again...xmas

Here are a few pics of the bounty. There was some Snap-on and Craftsman stuff included and alot of misc stuff. Air tools -3/8 impact, 1/2 impact, 3/8 ratchet, 1/4 ratchet, drill, die grinder. I ended up with 3 tool boxes 1 cornwell cart, a Cratsman combo top and bottom chest and a small 4 drawer Craftsman portable, CH portable air tank, Cornwell Blue Monster floor jack, Cornwell mid-C720 battery charger. Craftsman "6 hp" :lol_hitti oiless compressor with hose, Cornwell 1/2 torque wrench, 3/8 cheap craftsman torque wrench, a cool honeywell fan, and a bunch of misc wrenches, bit sets and drill bits, an old Mecedes Benz tools in a wrap (not complete). The Timing light was POS and only 4 or 5 HF type tools. Turned out to be a nice haul.

He's advertised the same set a few months back for around a grand. If I had the extra cash (about to buy the girlfriend the ring) Awesome Score!!

I don't remember seeing it a couple months ago, glad you were about to buy the GF a ring  I would have got the tools and gave her an IOU. :bounce: J/K I ended up shooting the breeze with him for over an hour, turned out to be a nice guy. I almost felt guilty... :lol_hitti
