Those are Kennedy made boxes. They are the CTB-4024BL blue bottom and CTB-4124BL for the top chest. In 2001 new the top chest listed for $1650 and the bottom listed for $2550. They were great and sturdy US made boxes. I would buy a set in a heartbeat if he was in my area. However, as others have pointed out, they look ok in the picture but, are there keys? do all of the drawers work? etc. On a side note, Cornwell switched to Waterloo hencho en Mexico boxes more than a few years ago. There are NO parts available for older Kennedy made boxes. You would be out of luck trying to get slides, struts, locks, or anything else unless Kennedy had it. Despite that, the 42 by 24 footprint offers you a lot of storage in a compact footprint.

Again thanks for the help guys, much appreciated.
Had a feeling these are pretty good.
Basically a local BMW dealer built a brand new location and just left the gear behind at the old. It was a land rover dealer as well thus the green boxes. I will try and get over there tomorrow to check them out and find one in best condition.
If I like them the next challenge will be trying to get it home as I don't have a truck :)

I always thought the gawdy handles on Cornwell boxes looked awful. But, if you can get past that, these boxes are probably a good deal if you need one.

Ha, yeah, I don't need it, but would be a nice upgrade from my csps box pending they are in mint condition. Based on the sellers info they have about 7 years usage at the dealer and once retired to my garage I assume will outlive my life usage. I should be able to sell my big stainless box that is just a tad smaller than this cornwell for about $500 I am guessing? This will take a lot of the sting out of the $1000. Most likely I will add a side chest to this box if I buy one as well which will give me room to grow I dont have with the CSPS box.

I have one of those 42" Cornwell/Kennedy boxes. Mine is the green Land Rover version. Its an outstanding box, hard to find anything bigger and more sturdy for the same price. Kennedy still makes these boxes but the design has changed some. I would take it over the later Waterloo boxes any day. I paid $2000.00 for mine used in 2005 so $1000.00 is an awesome deal.
