Cornwell Joins Long 3/8 Ratchet Party

I am a Cornwell Lover and was browsing the new products on the site. This looks to be their first foray into the XXL 3/8 ratchet market.

I would say the price is more than competitive. Just a heads up, anyone seen one in the wild yet?

Only 30 teeth though

That coke bottle shaped handle is a winner-winner chicken dinner.

I noticed in this month's flyer, they have also introduced the extra long 1/2 drive flex head 30 tooth ratchet with or without comfort grip handle.

Previously, you could only get the 72 tooth version with comfort grip and they weren't that durable.

Nice to see Cornwell introducing new products even if it's still a 70 year old design.

Oooh I'd love to come across one of those for 15$ at a tool auction in ten years. Cornwell's smooth handles are my absolute flavourite.

Some guys will be turned off by the 30 gear teeth, but they're so smooth, you'd never know it was a 30 tooth.

I have to agree. The 30t Cornwell ratchets are the smoothest you will ever use. And like as said above the handle on the chrome ratchets is the absolute best non comfort grip of any manufacturer. I love Cornwell ratchets. Just wish I had a dealer.

Yeah I love the cornwell chrome handle as well but also have a few of the comfort grip as well. Both the 30t and 72t versions have been great once broken in. Cornwell doesnt get much love on here but I will look to them first if I am in need of a tool.

30t cornwells are smooth as any dual 80 and low if not any back drag. I want that ratchet as all I have in long is the 15" 1/2 I paid $10 from snap on guy. I got one of those 3/8 in 1/4 body and love it. I got the longest snap on 3/8 and it's not long enough it's 12"ish and I got a tekton that's 18" and it was bogo on black Friday and I got it and USA screwdriver set for $27 it's strong and made well. I'm going to swap out the snap on 3/8 for the long 1/4 my snap on guy let's me trade dollar for dollar if it's new.9
