i have a cornwell ratchet with broken gear and i called to customer service to get rebuild kit and they told me that nothing cant be done thru them, they dont do any kind of replacements or repairs and i have to go to local dealer to get it replaced or repaired, now im trying to hunt one down. which is almost impossible.

Ok, thanks, I know too, that ratchet used to slip, or change direction, I don't recall what one, if pressure was applied to the head.
But this ratchet did this since day one.
It's the little 1/4" drive size, but is really 3/8" drive.

I've sent in Cornwell ratchets; that had chrome peel (typically at the end of the handle) and they sent me brand new ones in the mail.

Good deal, Snap on is pretty good like that too.
I was waiting and waiting for snap on to send a mailing label, I was like WTF, and was ready to call them back, and what shows up, but 2 brand new ratchets. Never even had to send the old ones back. Good service, and nice that they trusted me.
