Cornwell Ratchets - The best looking???

OK, we've debated the best value, the best quality, the smoothest action, strongest but what about the best aesthetics.

Is there a better looking ratchet then Cornwell? These things look like works of art. (not that the bolt really cares)

snap on has a better looking ratchet but the cornwells with hard handles do look pretty good.

I like cornwells I have a few. I would have more if there was a truck around here. They are purdy!

I think that the cornwells are some of the most gorgeous ratchets around. When you've got a brand new one, you almost don't want to use it.

I love my black industrial 1/2" Cornwell. I've been lusting after a soft handle Snap-On now that the weather is getting cold, but the handle design on the Cornwell is beautiful as well as comfortable.

cornwell ratchets are very good looking. can use a new one as an inspection mirror. love the chrome. and i like the overall weight, gives them a very strong yet balanced feel.

The black chrome looks good to I have both chrome and black chrome. I need to get a 1/4 drive Cronwell. Vry nice ratchets. I like my 72 tooth cornwell too.

I just saw a Cornewell Truck yesterday on my way to work. It was only the third time I've ever seen one. Unlike the previous two I've seen this one looked like it was still in service, but the dealers phone number on the truck had an area code that was from out of state. To me Cornwell has got to be the rarest of the rare when it comes to professional grade tools. I've never seen a tool from them. None of the prefessional automotive techs or aircraft mechanics that I know or ever worked with had any Cornwell tools.

I think that for t he most part any actual "sealed head ratchets" look best compared to teardrop and round heads. As far as im concerned they are the most rugged and even look the part.

Wrights look better but my ratchet can look like whatever and I could care less.

I think the old Matco/wright are the prettiest. With the waisted square handle and round head. The Cornwell 3/8 are nice but for some reason I don't like the proportions of the 1/2 models as much.

The Euros (stahlwille, hazet, elora) are the ugliest.

Heres my hard handle JR40. Just got it a few weeks ago. Love the hard handle and the chrome quality.

The Snap-On steel handles I think are the best looking in my opinion. I'd say the duralast 936 copy because it has a small amount of kunrling on the handle but that "Gaurenteed For Life" on the handle is a turn off. The long Corwells are nice looking and the bent handle Craftsman Pro 3/8 drive is nice looking as well. The New Snap-Ons would be a clear cut winner if it had USA on it.

When you ask people for an opinion you should expect differing opinions and why they come to that conclusion. All adults here so no need to sugar coat it.

I bought this Duralast 1/2 ratchet after your ratchet review. Great ratchet.

I like how it's the same basic design since the late 40's early fifties. Kinda a Vintage /New ratchet. And Cronwell uses USA made steel too. That's my Matco 15" 3/8 inch drive ratchet on the bottom.

They look like a Wright contour handle ratchet mated with a Craftsman ratchet IMO. But the real judgement should be placed once it's been in my hand.
