While cruising EBay for soon ending auction deals I stumbled on a set of these and bought them up.Maybe I'm nieve but I didnt think Cornwells pliers are outsourced. There was eight in the set. A channel lock style, couple linemans, diagonal cutters, couple needle nose and something else I can't remember right now. I don't hold tools too a real high standard so I usually jump on cornwell even though quality has went down according to some. Any one use these and can comment on the quality and the COO. What I read is they are made in China. I would feel better if they were Taiwan made.

I read that Mac was using these too. Blows my mind! I paid only about 7 dollars a pair average but can imagine the price tag coming off the Mac truck.

Not sure but some I have seen are the Cornwell rebranded sets made by knipex with red handles

Stay away from the blue ones the grips were coming of on the truck for me

I try to never buy anything from China... (he says as he types on his iMac)... but if I have a choice, even if I have to pay more, I'll buy American or Taiwan or Brazilian... anyplace but China.
