I just purchased this Cornwell roll-away and am curious about its age and manufacturer.

I've cleaned out the top and have been unable to find a date stamp there. I can find stuff about the older boxes with curved drawer pulls, and stuff about newer boxes with handles all of the way across the drawer, but I can't seem to figure out when they sold boxes with these.

Here are some pictures of the drawer guides that may help somebody figure it out.

Cornwell used to sell RemLine and Waterloo at the same time and those slides look like Waterloo on the bottom box and the top box looks like Waterloo also to me. Both look like sold seventies and eighties. They did not change designs at that time for many years running.

Waterloo was my first thought based on what I had read and seen online, Rem-line was another. I expected to find a date stamp if it was Waterloo, but the whole top till is smooth.

I'm happy with the purchase, it even came with a drawer of pliers! Not a lot of quality pliers, but there are a few good ones in there.

I took a little more time cleaning up today. Pulled the drawers out of the top box and checked it out inside - still no stamp of any kind. Here are a few more pictures to see if anything identifiable jumps out at somebody.

The drawer guides look like ones I've seen in pictures of Waterloos and Rem-Lines, while the drawer-lock style on the Rem-Lines is different, as are the lid styles and hinges.

I just need to add some drawer lining and I'm ready to load it up!

I paid $150. There are some scratches and dents, but no appreciable rust and everything works well.
I started putting stuff in it this evening - filling up pretty quickly!

1980's, made by waterloo. It should be stamped on the back or side of the boxes.
