Am rather familiar with SO and MAC roller cabs from all the info here, but what about Cornwell? This came up on my local CL and is the same width as a 2-bay box. How does Cornwell compare with the others as far as quality and warranty issues? Thanks. http://bend.craigslist.org/tls/2449120702.html

when those boxes first came out like 6 years ago they were way less money. the one listed above was around 1k. the other version they sell that is missing the 2 bottom drawer area was 600 but often on sale for 500 range. they both doubled in price.

Not the same carts. You're talking about these which are significantly smaller:

The CTBMM800BK came out last year, it is wider and deeper than the previous models.

Warranty???? I think it is 1 year on boxes and parts for Cornwell.
I have the older 36" version 8 drawer. OK quality. About like Snap-On kra and 1990's midgread Craftsman. In other words ok quality, nothing special. Now I would have to see it in person, I can not imagine if this is built with the same thickness metal and overall heft that it would be very durable in a bigger version. Assuming the same, I would say a much better value then a KRA box/cart if buying new. That box is overpriced used. I would think $600ish would be a more realistic selling price.

I have the CTBMM800BK currently, I had the one pictured by the OP before this, and i can attest that the new one is much better quality. and very spacious. It is hardly a toolcart, it is huge!

I have a cornwell double bank box and a matching cart. both in yellow as well.
All I can say from experience....good luck with any warranty issues.
The ONLY thing they ever replaced was the plastic emblems that literally fell off one day.
I have 5 tracks that have issues and the cart has multiple spot welds that have broken loose.
