They are the same Taiwanese ratchets that Mac sells, and might even be the same as the Carlyle, but I can't say for sure. I haven't personally used them, but I know the set can be had for about $175 on ebay.

Search the board for roto head ratchets. TONS and TONS MORE threads on them. Also search the Tool Truck Equivalent Thread 2.0 as you can get those as Carlyles for less $. Then get ready for a small but very vocal minority to tell you they're Taiwanese so they must ****.

The sk ones are fanstastic.

Alas but, SK only made 3/8 drive and the current SK company doesn't offer roto ratchets.

I don't particularly care for the handle on the Cornwells. Cornwell does offer that set with an all metal handle. Cornwell's aren"t actually made by Cornwell though, rebadged Sunex.

I agree, I would save your money and go with Tekton or Gearwrench before I would spend premium money on Cornwell.

That's not a real Cornwell product. Those ratchets are made by the same Taiwanese company that makes Carlyle ratchets.

Garbage.

Co worker bought a set and both the 1/4" and 3/8" ratchet's handles spun on their shafts with minimal use. The rubber isn't solvent resistant either and swells up or falls apart.

If it is the same ratchet as the Carlyle 100 tooth (very likely), I don't think anyone would argue that it is the best roto-ratchet made, at any price!

i had a chance to buy a set at 100 bucks before i knew how popular these roto heads were or i would have resold for profit.

for taiwan...why pay the big price. you can get all 3 from harbor freight for under 60 bucks.

just tell yourself the green on the handle is snap on. lol

Snap-on's rotos in my opinion are the best. But stupid expensive. Those cornwells are just overpriced tiwan ratchets. In my opinion buy the carlyle ratchets.

An alternate reality in a parallel universe.
Avoid them, go with then actual OEM, I was ripped off by the Cornwell dealer, I bought them for way more than I should of. They were selling this set for $179 every other month, the dealer I dealt with this dealer only for a few weeks yet he knew they were going on sale in 2 days but opted to gouge me, then I find out they are made in Asia. If you can go with SnapOn or go with Gearwrench.

new Carlyle roto ratchets almost never make it to ebay, your best bet is catch it on "monthly special" sale at NAPA, and couple that with their 20% off "bucket deal"

I had them and sold them. The head was way too bulky and the.swivel was way too loose. The 1/2 dr was never even touched. Sold them off and bought the snap on versions in 1/4 and 3/8. The quality difference is not even close. The.snap ons are far superior in every way. The.swivel is tight enough to be useful and the head is much slimmer. I will say that my buddy has the Gearwrench version and even those are much better than the Cornwell and Mac, Carlyle versions.
