The latest Cornwell price book I have shows the CTB-MM100 series (next page from that one in catalog) at $599.95 that's a 2006 price book. I'm going to guess that cart is $1K or so.

Save your dough for a tool box!! Get a plain jane cart, I have a one drawer mac with the opening lid. That gets heavy when loaded. Can you imagine this loaded and trying to roll it?

Cornwell must really be behind the times; you cannot order from their website and thus do not having pricing online! All the other brands you can order online and shipped to your door (Snapon, Mac, and Matco).

That cart CTB-MM700 series lists for $995. However, cash brought the price down significantly lower for me. It's not US made. It smells like a Harbor Freight store when unpacking it.
However, I wouldn't want to be without it. Mine has held up well so far. It's not meant to replace your main box but, it gives you mobility and storage for your most used tools. I move around between 3 bays so, I like the flexibility it offers me. It rolls fine fully loaded and the deep till holds alot.
Yes, Cornwell is an old time tool company that isn't up to speed with internet sales. Most of their hardline probably hasn't changed in over 40 years, 30 tooth ratchets, a retention hole on sockets instead of scalloped cutout on each side, limited offerings, etc. Great people but, old school.

Thanks for the good input... certainly looks like a nice cart. I'm kinda with the other guys though I'd rather have a single drawer or no drawer open cart for the type of work I do. However working between several bays like that it would be handy to keep things organized and at hand vs. just tossed in the top or in one drawer.

Cornwell is a great old time company. I love dealing with old school companys that lets their product do the talking instead of Jesse James, Chip Foose or some race sponsorship plastered on their tools to cover up the huge decline in quality. The only place you can buy Cornwell Tools is their dealers which is Cornwells only customer, they don't make anything for anyone else. I'm sure their dealers are pretty happy that they have been loyal to them and not just jumped on the bandwagon like everyone else. I'm sure at some point they will go online but I bet the dealers will get something out of it.

I bought the snap on 3 drawer roll cart and when I loaded it up with tools and moved it, it moved harder than I thought it would. However, it did roll better than a couple other single drawer or open top Blue Point roll carts with hardly anything in it. The wheels on them seemed to be very cheap imo. I like the bigger cart since I move from one end of the shop to the other at times.

Cornwell used to buy, rebrand, and sell Waterloo boxes. Once folks caught on, they commisioned Waterloo to build proprietary boxes for them, so people couldnt get the same exact box for hundreds less. Lots of companies do this (Sears purchases Waterloo as well). I would take that money and buy a nice bottom box that will not only work as a mobile cart for now, but can also be built apon when it come time to buy a matching top box.
