I have not seen that particular Cromwell cart but the couple I have seen are well built. The one you linked reminds me of the Mac tool cart. I prefer the lift lid type carts as they have a smaller footprint with the lid opened and almost all have screw driver and prybar holes. I have a snapon krsc246 and would only trade it for an epiq sidekick.

anyone seen or own one of the new style cornwell slide top tool carts? They are new on the market and I cannot find much information on them. They seem well built. I was looking into a slide top snap on but dont like that it does not have holes in the top for prybars and screwdrivers.

Doesn't Cornwell own Kennedy now? Because that looks kind of similiar to the Kennedy box model 38115 (doesn't have a sliding top though).

I don't think the carts are, at least yet. Looking in the new flyer, they have boxes now being advertise as Ohio Built. My guess as contracts and supplies run out with Waterloo, all Cornwall boxes will be Kennedy........again.

HF carts are Chinese junk. I have one. I know from experience

Might be because the operator did a half *** job of putting it together? Mine has been used and ABUSED for going on 6 years and works great...

I had the older version of that cart with three drawers and it didn't have the little flip lids on the wings. I hated it!, you needed over 6ft of total clearance to access the stuff stored in the top, what a PITA. Also the drawer lock slide bar release was in the back of the upper portion and just a real cluster F to access. I worked out of it for several years and finally gave it to a buddy of mine a couple years ago.

Tippy very much so, with the 3 shelf carts I moved the wheels closer to the edge and it is tad more stable.
Had one as my electronic cart it was unbalanced, nothing really fit in drawers always something was too big. Never rolled right.
Just gave it away to an intern.

I guess you need to hit up the gym then, cause I have zero issue moving mine around lol. And it's definitely not unstable.

The $100 black roll carts tho, the smaller ones, those are definitely chincy weak little units.

I have a HF cart and it *****, flimsy chinese steel, casters that flatten if it sits for more then a few weeks, heavy in all the wrong places.

Ya I have no physical strength, but I can move my Snap On Transmission cart that is 1000 pounds overloaded easier than any HF one.
There is a 3in1 on top and 2k in tooling in the cart, my SO guy is amazed at what I put in the cart that it has not failed or deformed.
I have a KRA that is used as a press tool box, I have pullers and adapters in every possible size. The drawers are so overloaded you need to empty at least 1/2 before you can remove drawer.

But hey I have no strength and you can live in your world where you think HF is good stuff.

One of the guys here had the Matco with the sliding top, wasn't a bad cart. Only thing I hate about sliding tops is in a few weeks it would be covered with **** like my big Snap On tool box.

Well, for one, I wasn't talking to you. And two, never said all of harbor freight stuff is good stuff. but the roll cart, it hasn't let me down and I have no issues with it.

And idk if you can see my lil avatar there bud, but I'm 107% sure there's a KRL box in it. Whooptie do for your snap on box, I have one too, and so does every other dude on here.
