Have a chance to buy this Cornwell Cart. It is used but not abused in what I would call very good condtion. The guy wants $400 firm. I see on the Cornwell site it list for $700. It is more a red/orange than the pic below. Sorry for the small pic but it was one of the few pic's I could find of the box. Could not find any on ebay to compare pricing. I have Craftsman cart but looking to upgrade to something bigger. Any opinions on the cart itself or the price?

Good cart, price about 100 dollars to high
I bought that cart for $350 new off the truck several years ago. List at the time was $500.
thats too high for that box, unless it was in "like new" shape.
Instead of trying to barter with the guy, just let him know you are interested in it, but not for that. Tell him to keep your number and give ya a call if hes willing to come down some if he doesnt get his asking price.

A good friend of mine has that cart in orange. He payed 350 used off a snap on dealer. The guy that painted my el camino has two of them bolted together-very cool I thought.

I was ready to buy if for $300 today but since he turned it down I let it go. I did leave him my number and told him if he changed his mind to give me a call. So I guess my instinct of around $300 was not that far off. Sadly in this economy there is always another one around the corner.

The one from a few years ago was a different model. This cart is in the sale flier this month for 629. I have several of these in stock and I have a model below this that sells for like 350.

The dealer sold it to me cheap cause it was the fugly purple color and he wanted it off the truck, plus cash sale no receipt, and I bought a ton from him.
Funny thing is , he gave me $450 trade in on it on the cart/box the same size but with drawers top to bottom (selling price was $900 I think). And he even let me steal 2 of swivel casters off the old and put them onto my new box so I have 4 on it.
To my untrained eye the only difference in the 2 boxes I saw was in the locking mechanism. I had heard they beefed up the structure of it but its been so long I cant recall.
