Resist the urge to track him down!
I had the same experience several years ago, truck was around a couple years, sold some tools locally and then vanished. Called him up about a 3/8 ratchet kit, see when he would be back, told me he wouldn't be back and that they were out of stock. Cornwell is dead to me.
MAC guy did the same thing, but at least way back at that time MAC would send you a kit or warranty a tool through the mail.

My Mac guy retired, I've been real impressed with sending stuff in for them to warranty it.Costs me a bit to ship it, but they send it back very quickly by ups. Very happy with them.Resist the urge to track him down!
