I was on my Cornwell guys truck the other day and asked him if hehad a jr72? He replies what is that? I say it is a fine tooth ratchet. I dont think we have those. Now he is new so he gets the benefit of the doubt. But he only had 3 ratchets on the entire truck. Now are my expectations too high fora tool truck? Now my Snap-on guy has just about 1 of every ratchet. I did not want to tell the guy how to run his biz so I said nothing but you tool truck guys are ratchets not something you should have more than 3 of on the truck? I really want to check a jr-72 out before I buy it but I dont think he got the hint to order one. I understand just starting out you have to keep costs low and not have too much ******* in dead inventory. He also does not have lot of pliers or screw drivers. Basic stuff. I really like the tools and like the prices better than Snap-on but I am a impulse buyer when it comes to tools and will usually never order anything unless it is something I really need. So if there are any tool truck guys on here are my expectations too high?

I would expect the tool truck to have all the common hardline stuff instock on the truck , ratchets, wrenches, various types of sockets. Air tools, cordless tools, prybars, basically the everyday tools.

Our Cornwell guy just started a few months ago. He has had about 1 of every ratchet on his truck since he first started out and keeps a pretty decent stock of the basics.

If he's new, he may have only had the capital for the bare minimum investment and not enough to fully stock his mobile store nor knew what to stock. I've no idea what Cornwell's requirements are.

My Cornwell dealer has so many ratchets on the celing you're afraid to stand under them. He probably has at least four jr72s at any time. You are not asking too much.

My Cornwell guy is the only truck that comes every week. He just started coming in Oct of last year and he has always had an awesome selection. My JR72 was kinda stiff at first but it gets smoother the more I use it. Everybody should have one.

Yeah, I have to agree, he should both know and have a few on the truck. I went to cornwells website, did the little 'find a dealer thing' and my local dealer called me back in about 30min, and he had a JR72 on the truck for me when I went and saw him about 3 days later, with the truck loaded down with ratchets and such.

Might just be that your guy is new! Give him the benefit of the doubt!

I want to see a pair of their orange handled rebranded channellock pliers!

They are seriously EXACTLY the same. Put bright orange handles and ccl in front of the Channellock #. In comparison I was on my Snap on truck today and he had 4 of EVERY RATCHET. I want a jr-72 bad and may just have him order it.
