I have recently took a shine to Cornwell tools and had enquired about the price of importing a small roll cab to the UK, but didn’t like the price. I was amazed to see this box on E Bay as I didn’t know any had come over the Atlantic so I snapped it up for a fraction of the price of a Snap On or Mac equivalent. I don’t think many people here know of Cornwell.
I don’t know if it should be in this vintage category as I have no idea how old it is. I am guessing 80s or 90s. Also has anyone any clues as to how it got here. I wondered if the US armed forces either used them or a serviceman could have brought it over. I bought it from a fellow farmer who didn’t seem to know where the previous owner had got it.
Anyway apart from the odd war wound to the paint I am really pleased. The roller drawer slides run great after a clean and lube. All I need is more tools to fill it.
