Just started my garage with the Corotech HP1550 Primer. 1800sqft garage. Was expecting to use 3 gallons, ended up using 5 gallons as it sucked it in faster than I could spread with a roller and probably could’ve used 6 gallons. Is that normal? I was surprised that this was so liquidy, expected it to be thicker like normal epoxy. Let it sit for 30-45 minutes after mixing as it says. Seems to just be soaking into the concrete at drying out little by little at this point. Hoping it cures as expected to start the epoxy tomorrow.

Yep. That's normal. The primer is sometimes referred to as the ugly coat. It penetrates and adheres well to the concrete, thus enabling a strong chemical bond with the thicker color coat.
